Mining Alliance is committed to integrity and high ethical standards in the conduct of its business and expects the same of all persons employed or otherwise engaged to provide services on its behalf. Mining Alliance’s policy prohibits the offering, promising, giving or authorising of others to give anything of value, either directly or indirectly, to any party in order to:

  • improperly obtain or retain business; or
  • otherwise to gain an improper business advantage.

It also prohibits the receipt or agreement to receive anything of value that results, or may result, in the improper performance of their duties by a Mining Alliance employee.

Mining Alliance does not permit the making of facilitation payments on its behalf. Gifts and entertainment provided by or to Mining Alliance or its employees must be for bona fide business purposes only, reasonable in scale and frequency, proportionate to the nature of the relationship and status of the invitees, and transparent.

Breach of Mining Alliance’s policy may result in dismissal of an employee and the termination of a business relationship with a third party engaged to provide goods or services to or on behalf of Mining Alliance.
